This structure was the Venezuela Pavilion at the world expo in Hanover in the year 2000. Due to crazy destiny and this country, end of Hanover in Barquisimeto.
It is said that the three-tier structure with a vault of 16 petals that open and close on a hydraulic "stalk" of 19 meters in height, will be one of the most imaginative pavilions of the exhibition. Designed by the renowned architect Venezuelan fruit alive and entitled "A flower for the world", the structure is inspired in the monolithic Tepuis rising imposing landscape of the Gran Sabana and the national flower of Venezuela, Orchid. When it is open, or in full blossom, if you will, the flower has a diameter of 39 meters.
